About Us

The Queen’s Alumnae Atlanta Chapter (QAAC) is a not-for-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization comprised of past students of the all-girls Queen’s High School in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. In 2000, a group of past students, reflecting on the strong foundation their alma mater built for them, established the chapter as a way to give back to the school. The goal of QAAC is to create a sisterhood comprised of committed past students who are dedicated to the on-going support and improvement of the school and its students.

The chapter raises funds to support a variety of programs and projects at the school in close consultation with the school’s leadership. A few of the varied projects we have supported thus far include: Scholarships to individual students, fans for classrooms, computers for the lab, books for the library and ongoing support for the Welfare and Exam Funds that assist students in need at the school.

QAAC’s programs and services provide alumnae meaningful opportunities to support not only the school and current students, but also the Jamaican community and local charities right here in Atlanta. QAAC welcomes all who would join us in our ongoing efforts.
